Plastic Card ID offers a 30 day return policy on all card printer purchases, provided you meet the following conditions.
- The card printer must be defective. This means you have spoken to one of our technicians in an effort to resolve the problem, and they could not resolve it.
- If the card printer shipped to you is different than what is described on the invoice.
- Plastic Card ID will not accept returns if the card printer is in working order, unless it has been authorized by one of Plastic Card ID’s staff. In this case there is a 15% restocking fee charged for the return.
Accuracy of Specs Given to Plastic Card ID
Quotations are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided. Plastic Card ID may return or deny a project at time of submission, if the artwork does not conform to the information on which the original quotation was based. Also the pricing may change if the artwork is different than the original quote.
Card quotes are good for 60 days.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties
The supplier warrants only that the work will conform to the description contained in the agreed upon order. The supplier’s maximum liability whether by negligence, contract or otherwise, will not exceed the amount specified in the order. Under no circumstances will the provider be liable for specific, individual or consequential damages.
Color Proofing/Proof Approval
A PDF proof is sent out to simulate how the printed card will look. Because of the differences in plastic color, ink and other conditions between color proofing and production pressroom operations, a reasonable variation in color between color proofs and the completed job is to be expected. Certain ink colors can vary after some production processes. Therefore, exact PMS color matches cannot be guaranteed. When variation of this kind occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance and the proof becomes a contract between the client and the supplier.
A PDF proof approval is required before printing starts.
Production begins once your proof has been approved. Production times varies from week to week.
Rush orders are possible at an additional cost. Contact Plastic Card ID to get a quote on this.
Plastic Card ID takes ½ down to start the printing process. We then produce a proof and email it for approval. Once approved, we print your cards. The balance is charged before the cards are shipped. If there are additional shipping charges, they are added at this time.
Plastic Card ID may grant credit terms. However terms are only offered after a payment history has been established. We take all major credit cards and checks. Any account over 30 days is charged 1.5% interest.
All purchase orders must be in writing, not verbal. So we will accept purchase orders by email, mail, or phone.
Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in writing no later than 24 hours after delivery. If no such claim is made, Plastic Card ID and the client will understand that the job has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client acknowledges that the Plastic Card ID’s performance has fully satisfied all terms and specifications.
